In the educational space, the training of future foreign
language teachers in higher education is a priority. The reason for
difficulties is to maintain cultural and informational exchange, cor-
rect perception of the received information and relevant interaction
of all participants of the speech process by means of the studied lan-
guage. Information about the demand for the mastery of language
and social networking skills determines the professional orientation
of future teachers in higher education. The article attempts to study
and analyze the theoretical foundations of future teachers’ foreign
language competence formation. To achieve an effective outcome,
it is important to boost motivation in the context of learning a for-
eign language for high-quality professional activity education of
future teachers. At the modernized stage, the formation of foreign
language competence takes the lead. When choosing a toolkit a
teacher should take into account the situation of permanent devel-
opment of modern education, consider modern requirements and
demands of society. The article deals with the definitions of the con-
cepts “competence” and “competency”, which often lead to misun-
derstanding of their subsequent qualitative formation in the process
of professional activity. Foreign language competence is considered
to be really actual and socially demanded in professional activity.
The article presents the main components of foreign language
competence at the university. To analyze this issue, the study and
analysis of existing methods and techniques used in the conditions of university education in the formation of foreign language compe-
tence in future teachers is carried out. The peculiarities of motiva-
tional influence for passive absorption of information and modern
methodological solutions that can be applied in the professional
activity of future teachers are considered. |
