MODELING THE SUPPORT OF FOSTER CARE LEAVERS WITH SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL MALADJUSTMENT

| Annotation: | The article is devoted to the general problem of adap- tation in society and various living arrangements of orphaned chil- dren and children left without parental care. To do this, the author suggests the introduction of an individual trajectory of support for care leavers, based on the developed model of socio-pedagogical support for care leavers with socio-psychological maladjustment and subsequent software for the activities of specialists providing support for this category of youth. The author provides an over- view of Russian and foreign scientific publications, which provide various approaches to assessing the functioning of the institute of foster families and options for applying the model of support for care leavers from the perspective of theoretical analysis. The scar- city of such studies is emphasized. The Standard of support for care leavers of organizations for orphaned children and foster families upon completion of guardianship is analyzed in detail, the intro- duction of which is planned for this year and the purpose of which is the social adaptation of care leavers to independent living. As an alternative, it is proposed to develop an individual support trajec- tory, taking into account the available resources and capabilities of the care leavers to unlock their potential. The systematization of theoretical and empirical research suggests that the individualiza- tion of the trajectory of support for foster care leavers can increase the effectiveness of adaptation in society of orphaned children and children left without parental care, which allows us to talk about the success of the family life of this category of children and the effective functioning of the institute of foster parenting. The article is scientifically debatable, and, therefore, it should logically be fol- lowed by the “Proof of the model” stage, that is, confirmation of the effectiveness of the proposed model. | ||
