Annotation:

The article discusses the features of professional and personal development of students majoring in engineering using information and communication technologies (ICT) with their targeted integration into the educational process of a university. This includes the use of online learning platforms, interactive educational applications, intelligent systems and chats, ICT projects, as well as the development of skills in working with databases, programming and multimedia content. The main vector of such a system, as shown by theoretical analysis, is the preparation of students for effective work in the technological sphere, as well as the development of their personal and professional qualities. The purpose of the study is to develop an original pedagogical system of professional and personal development of students of a technical university using ICT and to experimentally prove its effectiveness in the educational process. The hypothesis of the study is based on the assumption that more successful professional and personal development of technical university students is ensured by the corresponding pedagogical potential of the implementation of ICT in educational and extracurricular activities associated with the deepening and expansion of value-semantic guidelines for the professional activity of students. As a result of the study, based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the indicators of development of professional and personal skills of technical university students were determined and its main components were identified in the context of the implementation of traditional and innovative ICT. For each indicator of professional and personal development of students, a practical ICT toolkit was developed for professional training during and after school hours in a certain clearly structured system of “goal-means-methods”. The pedagogical possibilities of ICT were revealed and the statistically reliable influence of the author’s pedagogical system on the development of value-semantic, intellectual, reflexive spheres of the personality of a future graduate of a technical university, the creation of prerequisites for the formation of holistic pedagogical knowledge and universal general pedagogical ICT competences of students was experimentally proven.
