In modern society, concern for the environment and human health is becoming increasingly important. One of the manifestations of this concern is the desire to consume environmentally friendly products produced with minimal impact on nature. In this regard, in recent years, the world has seen an increase in interest in organic products, which are produced using environmentally friendly technologies and minimal impact on the environment. Organic products are taking up an increasingly large place in the world market, attracting the attention of consumers due to their environmental characteristics and supposed health benefits. Russia has not remained aloof from this trend, and every year the demand for organic products among Russian consumers is increasing. However, for the successful functioning of the organic products market, appropriate legal regulation is necessary that would guarantee high product quality and protect the interests of consumers. Entering into these legal relations, the consumer hopes to receive high-quality products, but his expectations are not always met. That is why legal regulation of the legal relations under study is a special concern of the state. A permissive attitude to the fulfillment of the obligation to transfer organic products that meet all legislative quality requirements can lead to very sad consequences. The article analyzes the concept of organic products, its relationship with similar terms, reveals private law aspects of regulating production and ensuring the quality of organic products. The work presents the author’s views and analyzes theoretical research by scientists in this area. |
