Annotation: The paper presents the results of the structural dis- tribution assessment of medium-sized enterprises in the manufac- turing sector, taking into account the implemented support mea- sures. The aim of the study is to identify the structural uneven- ness in the distribution of medium-sized enterprises between the production and non-production sectors (trade, construction) on the example of a separate territory. The process of formation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Russian Federation is currently undergoing a number of chang- es and should be considered in terms of quantitative and quali- tative indicators. In quantitative terms, it is supposed to assess the growth of the following indicators: the number of small and medium-sized enterprises, the number of employees in general by categories of small and medium-sized enterprises. In qualitative terms, it is supposed to assess the dynamics of SME development in quantitative terms by type of activity, primarily in the produc- tion and non-production (trade, services) sectors. The scientific novelty possesses the assumption that today it is necessary to dis- tinguish the measures of state support for small and medium-sized enterprises respectively. The paper contains relevant information on the structural distribution of medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing sector of the Republic of Tatarstan by type of activity, which allows us to determine the share ratio of manufac- turing and non-manufacturing medium-sized enterprises in 2024. The next stage of the study analyses the measures of state sup- port for small and medium-sized enterprises as a factor that has a stimulating effect on the development of medium-sized enter- prises in the production sector and increasing its sustainability in the context of a separate territory of the Volga Federal District of the Republic of Tatarstan. The paper presents the structure of financial and non-financial measures of state support for small and medium-sized enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan, which makes it possible to assess the medium-sized enterprise sector by the level of costs in terms of the possibility of attracting debt financing and can be considered as a factor in ensuring its sus- tainability in the long term.
