The national features of the Russian farmerization, or fifteen years of the farming movement in Russia

The article is devoted to the national features of the farming movement in Russia. Over the years of the economic reform, farming has been formed in our country. Development of the farm sector of the economy is accompanied by significant economic and social difficulties. The negative trend of this process is imbalance of the crop production – livestock breeding ratio, which is nowadays 80–20 %, instead of scientifically grounded 50 : 50 % providing needed organic fertilizers application into the soil. The number of the main «producers» of organic fertilizers, cattle, has been reduced in our country in 2.7 times. Removal of nutrients from the soil without organic fertilizers recharging leads to land degradation. Livestock development is becoming the main strategic task of the farm sector of the economy.
