This article focuses on the application of the benchmarking institution at various stages of development of an organization. The strategic goal of benchmarking is a dynamic development and improvement of an organization by means of searching, adaptation and using the best existing methods of doing business.The article discusses the nature and evolution of benchmarking as a special institution of organizational development. The article reviews the main types of benchmarking; the main stages of organization development have been analyzed; and recommendations on the use of benchmarking at various stages of organization development have been provided on the example of the Xerox corporation. |
