The paper presents the main approaches to the formation of the science-receptive economics in the contemporary Russia. The basic components of the knowledge-based economics, including innovative and creative potential, which increases the competitiveness of production and improves the efficiency of the modern industrial plants and facilities, have been reviewed from the systematic point of view. The main stages and components of formation of the sixth technological structure in the modern Russian economics have been analyzed. The reasons and factors of development of the science-receptive economics have been revealed; the priority measures of the state support of high-tech industries in the modern environment have been determined.
