Annotation:

The article examines the informatization and Internetembracing of the educational space in the context of higher vocational education and its integration into the social networks on the example of «VKontakte». The social networks are becoming the most required web-resources that allow the socially active young people to implement their information, socio-cultural, cognitive and personal needs. Integration of educational institutions into the social network allows involving the greater number of participants of different regions, age groups and social level. Besides, the social networks allow promptly informing their members about the scheduled events, changes of educational and scientific components, as well as about cultural events taking place at the university. Social networks and educational institutions are the new type of symbiosis of modern social technologies and traditional forms and methods of teaching.
