The article discusses the relevance, place and role of knowledge in the system of wealth, presents the classification of tangible and intangible wealth, highlights the distinctive features of knowledge as the wealth, and identifies the legislative framework of the human right for education. The analysis and description of the dynamics of the number of students and pupils in the educational institutions of the Russian Federation has been provided studying in the primary, secondary and higher professional educational institutions. Additionally, the trend in the number of educational institutions of primary, secondary and higher education has been analyzed, as well as the change of the growth rate of the number of pre-school educational institutions in the Russian Federation and in the entities of the Southern Federal District, and the growth of the number of children in such institutions from 2005 to 2012. |
