Review of the experience of financing the projects of energy saving and power efficiency increase in Russia

The article examines the methods of financing of the projects of energy saving and power efficiency increase currently used in Russia. Selection of methods depends on the project characteristics. Respectively, the classification of projects from the point of view of financing is made. The possible sources of external (additional issue of shares, bonded loan, credit financing, leasing, carbon financing) and internal (profit, depreciation) financing are presented; the characteristic of their advantages and shortcomings is given. The key factors of successful application of alternative options of financing are defined. At the end of the study, the conclusion is made about the current promising option of financing in Russia.
