Potential for the strategic development of Volgograd

The paper describes the potential for keeping the status quo and economic growth of the hero city of Volgograd. The proposals made by the author are based on the official statistics and other key government data, as well as on the results of his own long-term researches. This report presents the findings based on statistical dependences reflecting the dynamics of employment changes in the real economics and the service sector. Based on the obtained dependencies, the author makes conclusion about inevitable change in the ratio between the people employed in the goods-producing industries and the people employed in the services production. The author presents his idea about the current potential of the economic growth of Volgograd as a social and territorial association of population.
