Strategic potential of the production organization: the content and the need of management

Annotation:

The article reveals the content of the strategic potential of production organization as a set of resource possibilities, the key competences of the staff and internal-industrial relations. The necessity of management of strategic potential is justified. Its constituent elements in the form of potentials of different types, such as financial, industrial, intellectual, human, managerial, innovation, investment, resources, marketing and sales potentials are examined. The characteristics of these potentials and their management tasks are demonstrated. The role of each potential in ensuring the effective functioning of industrial organization is analyzed.
