THE ISSUE OF DEFINITION AND CLASSIFICATION OF TRANSFORMATIONS IN TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS SYSTEMS

The article presents results of research on the term «transformation ». The term «transformation of transport and logistics systems » is proposed with regard to the specific features of the systems under consideration. The author’s classification of transformation of the transport and logistics systems is presented. Eight indicators are proposed within the classification, which characterize the possible nature of transformations of the transport and logistics systems under the influence of external and internal factors. The obtained results will allow utilizing the material and information resources more efficiently for strategic planning and management of the transport and logistics systems through the possibilities of more detailed assessment of consequences of the managerial impacts at the stage of decision making.
