| Annotation: | This article examines the research of the socio-cultural environment of the region in the context of the transition of the Russian economy on an innovative path of development. In developed countries, and some regions of Russia, one of the main factors of regional development is the so-called creative industries. The article presents the new trends in transformation of the socio-cultural environment in the context of globalization and competition of the areas; the possible directions of development of the socio-economic system of the Republic of Buryatia in the conditions of significant restrictions of business are analyzed; definition of the «creative-oriented region» is proposed. |
