CIVIL-LEGAL REGULATION OF THE PROPERTY AGRICULTURAL INSURANCE IN RUSSIA, AMERICA AND CANADA: EXPERIENCE OF COMPARATIVE RESEARCH

The article analyzes and summarizes experience of the civil-legak regulation of agricultural insurance in Russia and some foreign countries. We study the mechanism of agricultural insurance and its legal support in the US and Canada. The author systematized programs in the area of agricultural insurance in the United States and Canada, highlighted their similarities and diff erences, and made conclusions regarding the most eff ective insurance programs for farmers. The article provides analysis of innovations of the current legislation in Russia concerning subsidizing of agricultural risks insurance within the mechanism of the state support of agricultural producers. The author comes to the conclusion regarding appropriateness of using the foreign practice of insurance of agricultural risks in domestic practice.
