EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AS NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS – CONTROL FEATURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CIVIL CODE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The article examines some peculiarities of regulation of the activity of an educational organization as a not-for-profit organization (NPOs) by the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The unresolved legal aspects of establishing, registration, and activity goals of an educational organization, the features of regulation according to the norms of item 4 of Article 50 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation are studied. The possibility of including into the NPO Articles of Association of the activities corresponding to the goals of educational NPO and to its major activities, which are classified by the RF Civil Code as «other gainful activity», are examined. The features of regulation and legal implications of arrangement of an educational institution are investigated, as well as the changes of the type of the educational institution are discussed.
