Annotation:

This article discusses the problems of formation of the universal cognitive competences of children of preschool age; the author presents a theoretical model of development of the universal cognitive competences of children of preschool age consisting of the interconnected structural blocks, and allowing stagebystage implementation of the set tasks. The universal cognitive competences can be formed using various means, technologies, and methods. The model of formation of the universal cognitive competences will allow teachers, educators, and administrations of the educational institution to take into account the necessary factors, introduce methods and tools that allow forming the universal cognitive competences in preschool education.
