DYNAMICS OF THE LIFETIME EXPECTANCY OF THE VOLGOGRAD REGION POPULATION

| Annotation: | The results of the study of the dynamics of the lifetime expectancy of the Volgograd region population in the period from 1989 to 2015 are presented. The analysis of lifetime expectancy is provided for different categories of population, differentiated by gender and type of settlements (urban/rural). The work analyzes such indicators as lifetime expectancy at birth, lifetime expectancy for adult population, i.е. for the persons who have reached the age of 15 years, the infant mortality rate, and the interval duration of the forthcoming life. It is revealed that since 2003 the region has experienced an increase in the lifetime expectancy for all categories of population. |
