FEATURES OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC POLICY OF SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS SUPPORT IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Economic and administrative support of the small and medium businesses is one of the major directions of development of the regions and the entire state. The administrative and financial barriers hindering the active formation and effective functioning of business are revealed in Russia in the implementation process of the State program of support of small and medium business. The article presents the statistic analysis of indices characterizing the status of small and medium business in Russia, the review of expert opinions, data of social inquiries of businessmen, which allow forming an opinion on existing socio-economic problems that hamper the development of small enterprises in the regions.
