| Annotation: | The article describes formation of the Institution of microfinance in the Russian Federation and the trends of its further development, in particular in the field of expanding the list of permissible activities. Restrictions implied on microfinance institutions by the current legislation are analyzed. Conclusions are made about the gradual convergence of microfinance organizations with the credit agencies, which, at the current stage, is reflected in the legislation only in terms of the volume of allowed services, rather than in any other confirmation of the status of MFIs. The latest changes of the current legislation in the field of microfinance are examined. |
