PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL OF THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE FAMILY FORMATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUTH

Annotation:

This article discusses the issues affecting importance of the educational environment in the formation of the family consciousness of the youth as a category of society, the most vulnerable to social influences, due to the polyparadigmality of the key areas of human life, concerning, first of all, the relationship of genders and marriage and family relations. The weakening of the educational function of the family due to the systemic family crisis, the main manifestation of which is divorce, childlessness, abortion, virtualization of consciousness, etc., encourages the use of pedagogical resources of the educational environment as the environment closest and most significant to the youth in the context of formation of the family consciousness of the youth. The paper substantiates that the pedagogical potential of the educational environment in the formation of the family consciousness of the youth is determined by implementation of its set of functions (mental, sense‑forming, cultural, axiological), the essence of which is revealed in this study. Based on the methods of analysis and synthesis, objective and subjective factors of the educational environment, which play a significant role in the formation of the family consciousness of the youth, are identified and justified. The study reveals the pedagogical potential of objective and subjective factors, which include the resource potential (saturation) of the educational environment with family‑oriented information, ideas and meanings; spatial and subject structure; pedagogical interaction of participants in educational relations; psycho‑didactic support (content and methods) of the educational process. This paper substantiates the features of the educational process aimed at the formation of the family consciousness of the youth, which include a set of complementary methods (cultural extrapolation, dialogic method, method of cognitive reconstruction, method of actualization of latent moral attitudes, etc.). At the end of the study the conclusions summarizing the results obtained in this work are made.
