Annotation:

In this article, the author examines the features of the use of multimedia technologies in the educational activities of the conductor of a children’s brass band. Computer technologies, web-based communication tools, multimedia, digital educational technologies are used in orchestral pedagogy often. The analysis of literature data on the introduction of computer music technology in the educational procedure of collective playing music is carried out. In this study the author develops practical recommendations for the pedagogy of collective playing music in a children’s brass band based on multimedia technologies. The article assesses the role of information technology in the orchestra training of students, lists the types of information technology used in teaching students of a children’s brass band. At the initial stage, it is advisable to use a multimedia projector and interactive whiteboard to create multimedia presentations and music projects. Recording on an audio-video carrier of your own performance allows you to adjust practical musical skills. A multimedia reader and music editor are indispensable in rehearsal work, when creating orchestral parts. The electronic accompaniment can partially replace the pianist-accompanist. A microphone, audio and video are essential for organizing live performances. The author’s experience of collective playing music in children’s brass bands based on multimedia technologies allows the teacher to conduct lessons at a high aesthetic level; individually approach each student using multilevel tasks; isolate and separate the educational process; check the results of each child; stimulate students’ creative and research skills; speed up rehearsal pace. Thanks to the introduction of multimedia technologies in the practice of orchestral performance of children’s music schools and art schools, student performance and attendance are increased, and the motivational and cognitive potential of children is developing.
