Annotation:

The article presents the results of research on the problems of interaction between family and school in the artistic education of primary school children in the modern socio-cultural environment. The author identifies the main problems of interaction in the context of the designated topic: problems of pedagogical nature, problems of social nature, and problems of socio-cultural nature. The identified problems of interaction between family and school make it possible to talk about the need to find new methods and forms of interaction between family and school in the art education of younger students. The expediency and importance of the research topic for artistic education of children are substantiated. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the modern concepts of education of the younger generation; theoretical provisions on the role of art in the artistic education of a child; research on the problems of interaction between family and school in matters of education. The study describes in detail one of the innovative forms of interaction between family and school, developed by the author of the study-the socio-cultural project of family creativity, which affects the artistic education of younger students in a socio-cultural environment. The results of the survey among parents indicate the need for interaction between the school and the family, the establishment of partnerships. The novelty of the research topic is to substantiate the classification of identified problems in the interaction of family and school in the artistic education of children in the context of modern socio-cultural environment, which involves a huge number of different directions of artistic creativity and aesthetic development and, in this regard, a difficult choice of optimal means of artistic education and education.
