The article deals with the system of preventing psychoemotional stress in older preschool children in an educational institution. The relevance of the study is determined by a number of contradictions: the increase in the number of older preschool children with psychoemotional stress and the lack of a system of psychological and pedagogical work with this problem in preschool educational institutions; the increased requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for the psychological and pedagogical support of the emotional development of preschool children and the insufficient representation of the necessary tools for the prevention of disorders of the emotional development of preschoolers. Researchers have identified the signs of psychoemotional stress in older preschoolers and the features of its manifestation at this age. A three-level program for the prevention of psychoemotional stress in senior preschoolers developed by the authors and experimental work on its approbation are described. The testing of the preventive program took place on the basis of a preschool educational institution of the Tula region in the preparatory group. The results of the study allowed us to determine the signs of psychoemotional stress and their severity in older preschoolers. The analysis of the results of the study at the ascertaining stage of the experiment helped to distribute the subjects into thе following groups: children with unexpressed psycho-emotional stress, preschoolers with signs of psychoemotional stress, and also to identify a risk group — preschoolers whose level of stress according to the selected criteria is above average. This made it possible to individualize the prevention program and determine the measures of psychological and pedagogical assistance for each child. The conducted statistical analysis according to the T-Wilcoxon criterion confirmed the effectiveness of the developed and tested prevention program. Based on the results obtained at the ascertaining and control stages of the experiment, we can conclude that psychological prevention of psychoemotional stress in preschoolers is successful.
