In the current conditions of the crisis, the impact of economic sanctions, as well as of the COVID-19 pandemic, the issue of effective management to protect their economic interests without additional significant costs using existing tools of the enterprise is particularly relevant for commercial companies. Large companies and corporations, as a rule, have accounting, planning, financial services, security services and other divisions in their structure that perform functions aimed at ensuring the protection of economic interests. However, the activities of such services are closed, not generalized into a single information and analytical system. The accounting, reporting and control system in such a situation, in our opinion, can become the main information and analytical base, as it has a fairly wide potential to provide management with the necessary data, has a set of tools to ensure that one of the main tasks is to prevent negative financial results. However, in a crisis, economic entities are under the influence of various external and internal threats, which the accounting and reporting information system either does not record, or reflects partially, within the established methods. At the same time, the capabilities of accounting, its methods of generating analytical information, control, reporting and other tools can, in our opinion, be used more widely and effectively to ensure security tasks in a risky environment. The article proves that in order to eliminate economic threats, it is necessary to study the tasks and tools of the accounting and reporting system, the financial control system and economic security in order to develop a paradigm of interaction of these systems aimed at ensuring the economic security of corporations. The author substantiates the interconnectedness of the tasks of accounting, financial control and security systems, groups and identifies additional types of threats that are studied as objects of these systems, and suggests specific steps to integrate the accounting and reporting environment, risk-based control and economic security systems.
