Annotation:

The article describes the essence of the management of educational activities for the development by bachelors of visualization of educational information by means of graphification, expressed in the form of a theoretical concept and a structural-dynamic model corresponding to it. The organization of educational and cognitive activity is considered as an informational interaction between a teacher and a student within the framework of personality-oriented learning and self-development, and not only as the transfer of a certain amount of knowledge. The interdisciplinary links of cartography and the meta-disciplinary role of graphic visualization as a “language” of learning, research, and development of spatial thinking of students, their intelligence and professional competence in general are considered. The process of graphic visualization of educational information is presented as a necessary second language of instruction, activating mental activity and developing intellectual abilities in general. The cartographic fundamental method of research and teaching, which is the basis of the information cartographic approach (ICP) to mastering the process of graphic visualization of educational information, differs from others in its universality, its use in various studies and disciplines. Its modern expansion and enrichment in the scientific and pedagogical field of activity is promising, as it gives visualization characteristic metametodic features, which makes it possible to more successfully achieve the goal of professional training at a university for bachelors in the field of tourism. It involves the development of a creative personality with spatial thinking, communicative visualization skills, professional and general cultural competencies. The article is intended to complement the research on the organization of visualization of educational information during vocational training at universities based on the information-cartographic approach. This type of research on the implementation of visualization is being developed in higher education, but the cartographic approach is not being used enough and the research we have developed has been tested and offered for the first time. Methods of information graphification find increasing practical application; contribute to the introduction into the educational process of didactic techniques based on visual, spatial-figurative professional thinking, which is necessary for digital time specialists, since it corresponds to the modern culture of society associated with screen information and its consumption
