MOBILE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR SPEECH DEVELOPMENT OF SENIOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

In Russian education much attention is paid to the introduction of modern information training learning systems into the educational process of older preschoolers. This problem has become so urgent that the issues of the influence of information technology on various aspects of the development of preschoolers have become the subjects of many studies. The article deals with the problem of creating a mobile educational environment (MOE) for the development of speech as one of the promising areas for the use of mobile technologies in managing the educational process of older preschoolers. MOE is a device-independent web application with content aimed at the development of all components of the speech of older preschoolers. Interactive tasks in the form of a game and a crossword puzzle are used as didactic material. For the development of the MOE an approach based on optimizing the website for mobile devices is used. An algorithm for managing the motivation of older preschoolers using MOE has been developed. The tasks with the possibility of using mobile technologies for the development of speech of older preschoolers and the methodological support of the mobile learning environment are listed. The methodological basis is made up of modern concepts of information technology. With the use of MOE for the development of speech in older preschoolers, the following results have been achieved: the children’s vocabulary has increased; they have acquired the skills of generalizing groups of objects according to generic and specific characteristics; the children have shown an active development of imaginative thinking and improved practical skills in working with mobile devices. Utilizing the proposed MOE will ensure further improvement of all speech components in older preschoolers, as well as information support for their sociocultural adaptation in modern society using mobile technologies.
