The article discusses some aspects of the main stages of the pedagogical experiment on the formation of a foreign language communicative culture of secondary school students using modern educational technologies. The purpose of the article is a theoretical and experimental substantiation of the effectiveness of the use of digital technologies in the formation of foreign language communicative culture of secondary school students. As a result of the analysis of scientific literature on the issue under study, the definition of the concept of “foreign language communicative culture of primary school students” is given and the content of its main components is determined: value, cognitive, activity and reflexive. As a means of research at the ascertaining stage of the experiment, questionnaires and testing of students of the control and experimental groups were used in order to identify the initial level of a foreign language communicative culture formation. During the formative stage, a special system of activities aimed at the formation of valuable skills and abilities inherent in a foreign language communicative culture was introduced into the training process of the experimental group, using such digital technology tools as Lingualeo, Duolingo mobile applications, the Kahoot interactive platform, as well as the Skysmart interactive workbook. The analysis of the dynamics of the level growth of the students proficiency in the experimental groups in foreign language communicative culture at the end of the experiment showed that for all students the use of digital technologies turned out to be effective and their level of proficiency in foreign language communicative culture changed. Indicators of the levels of training in foreign language communicative culture at the control stage of the pedagogical experiment confirm the effectiveness of the using the digital technologies in teaching 8—9 grades students of a secondary school. |
