This article is devoted to the currently relevant concept of “business ecosystem”, the creation and implementation of which provides business agents with the benefits of cooperation while observing the principles of flexibility, independence, cooperation not only between business agents, but also with actual consumers of goods and services. Today, in the conditions of market uncertainty, accelerating processes of industrial integration, new forms of cooperation between economic agents are emerging. New forms of cooperation are required by the challenges of modern markets. We are witnessing that this particular form of business is becoming more and more successful among the global business community and is actively developing in various areas of the economy. The business ecosystem allows you to get an unprecedented synergistic effect that is impossible to get by business agents within the traditional rigid organizational boundaries. The organizational and economic boundaries of business are blurred and constantly realigned. For this reason, this form of interaction between organizations cannot be defined within the framework of well-known, well-established forms of cooperation between business structures. They will be replaced by a new form of interaction between organizations, called the “business ecosystem”. In the twentieth century, scientists defined, among other things, such a form of business cooperation as quasi-integration, which involves the interaction of business agents on the basis of long-term relationships. The considered form of relationship also cannot be described with the help of quasi-integration in the traditional sense, or must be substantially supplemented and corrected. In view of the novelty of the concept, in this article we have set a goal to consider the essence of the concept of “business ecosystem”, to identify the issues of scientific work on the formation and development of this form of business, to identify its main characteristics and features of existence. We tried to look at this phenomenon in a historical retrospective and trace the trends of its development in the future. |
