The subject of the study is the processes and possibilities of introducing information and digital technologies into the activities of small enterprises. Currently, small businesses are affected by the turbulence of the global economy within the Russian Federation. Many sources of supply chains have become difficult to access or completely closed for the Russian economy due to sanctions. The problem of small business development in such conditions is also justified by the adaptation of organizations to state reforms, new legislative acts. Small business is a driving force for such economic categories as innovation, maintaining a competitive environment, and creating jobs. Currently, the issue of small business transformation is relevant because of the need for sustainable development and a high level of competitiveness. Automation and implementation of digital technologies in small business of the Russian Federation is very relevant. The social role of digitalization in small business is considered as the basis for the formation of the middle class and the competitiveness of the state. Digital transformation will allow defining a new level for small business in the conditions of turbulence. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of digitization of business processes in the activities of small business in Russia in the context of the introduction of automation and the assessment of factors based on the analysis of statistical and factual information. The hypothesis of the study is the possibility of improving the efficiency of solutions for small business using the innovative component of the digital economy. The theoretical significance of this study is determined by the definition of measures for the transformation of small business under the existing reality of the Russian economy. The practical significance of this study is due to the application and transformation of a number of small business sectors, which will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the industry in Russia. |
