The article examines the problem of increasing the share of innovative industrial companies, summarizes foreign experience, and highlights the features of Russian companies that affect the development of new types of products. The structure of the Russian economy differs from the structure of the economy of European countries. This is due to historically established practices, including the legacy of the Soviet economy. Along with some difficulties, this structure has a number of advantages and the transition to another structure, if it is necessary in some situations, should be economically justified. In the course of the study, an assessment of the impact of the reasons constraining innovation on enterprises is carried out. It is stated that the innovativeness and the size of Russian companies are related by direct proportionality. It is noted that in Russian conditions it is possible to achieve a greater share of innovative industrial companies compared to other countries. To do this, it is proposed to use the features of the Russian structure of enterprises, in particular the size of companies and the features of innovation process management, with a certain strengthening of state support for enterprises. It was revealed that the innovativeness of large enterprises, when compared with small companies, is strongly influenced by fewer factors, while the degree of influence of these factors can be decreased by reducing barriers in combination with risk management and encouraging initiative of employees. Thus, large enterprises can become drivers of innovation and the development of new products. In conditions and taking into account the peculiarities of the structure of the Russian economy, when the share of large companies significantly prevails, this may be a shorter and more rational way to technological leadership. |
