MAIN INCENTIVES FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF ANTI-CORRUPTION COMPLIANCE IN PRIVATE COMPANIES

Currently, anti-corruption compliance has become an integral part of the activities of most large private companies that are interested in maintaining their reputation, minimizing fines, and attracting new customers. Anti-corruption compliance helps reduce the risk of corruption. This study is devoted to what kind of incentives, good reasons exist in order to create an anti-corruption compliance system in a private company, and what are the requirements from various regulators. The author made assumptions that the consequences of the inclusion of an anti-corruption system in a private company are that the company reduces potential risks in the form of damage to the company’s reputation, minimizes the likelihood of initiating a criminal case against the company’s management, and also creates a stable position in the market in terms of zero tolerance to corruption. This study is primarily focused on showing various private companies the potential benefits of implementing an anti-corruption compliance system, rather than inaction in this aspect. It is especially in that it demonstrates not only various arguments in favor of anti-corruption compliance, but also proves the relevance of such actions on the part of the company using specific examples. These examples make it clear that non-compliance with the requirements not only in the field of corruption, but in general, can cost a large amount of a fine, which will not only hit the company’s budget, but also its reputation, which, in turn, can significantly affect the cost shares of the company on the stock exchange and on the valuation of the company itself
