CHILDREN’S PUBLIC ASSOCIATIONS AS A SOCIAL INSTITUTION FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUTH SUBJECTS

Annotation:

The article is devoted to the consideration of children’s public associations as a social institution for the education of youth subjects, regulating and normatively streamlining the activities, communication and behavior of young people on the basis of the system of traditional spiritual and moral values inherent in Russian society. New opportunities (sociocultural, ideological, historical, socializing, etc.) and new approaches to the formation of educated, responsible, mobile, constructively thinking young citizens of their Fatherland, highly moral patriots are described. The main areas of activity of children’s public associations as a social institute for the education of youth subjects are determined: value-oriented (the implementation of purposeful, pedagogically expedient educational activities in the aspect of preservation and translation of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values); ideological (teaching young people a culture of peace as an alternative to brutality, terror and intolerance of dissent and ‘other’ people); civil-oriented (forming civic, patriotic consciousness and Russian identity of young people: expanding experience in the implementation of civil rights and duties); preventive (overcoming the value vacuum of modern youth and manifestations of thoughtless “protest” social activity; organization of timely prevention of socially dangerous forms of behavior of youths); team-interactive (shaping young people’s readiness for cooperation and teamwork in the course of solving socially significant problems; developing their social competence and understanding of each other’s value; creating a strong, cohesive team of like-minded people in in poly-subject interaction); subject-developing (updating resource opportunities for satisfying the interests, requests and aspirations of children and youth in a variety of areas of social recognition, self-affirmation and self-realization in the implementation of socially approved and socially recognized activities).
