STUDY OF SELF-DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE LAWYERS ON THE EXAMPLE OF SURGUT STATE UNIVERSITY

As a result of changes in the requirements for specialists in the labor market in the process of developing digitalization, including the digital environment, universities need to change their educational activities during the implementation of the federal state educational standards of higher education and professional standards. However, there are a number of problems associated with the formation of a digital educational environment in universities, which we have already identified in a previous joint work published in 2021 in the International Research Journal. Today, students should form digital competence. Digital competence is based on the continuous mastery of competences, which means that students must be able to develop it independently after graduation. In continuing education, it is also important to teach students to use various modern tools for self-development of digital competence in a digital environment. Self-development of digital competence is now a necessity for maintaining competitiveness of employees, including lawyers, in the labor market. We studied the self-development of digital competence of students of Surgut State University on the example of future lawyers by interviewing 108 students using a remote form. The analysis of the research results helped to identify a number of problems, and in order to solve them, we propose to develop a local act that will allow organizing systematic work, as well as to implement a project at the university that will allow students to be more actively involved in the development and self-development of digital competence based on their interests.
