The relevance of the study of the topic of self-management in education is due to the fact that a modern person lives in an age of rapid development of digital technologies, a large volume of incoming information and a catastrophic lack of time. The problem is that many students of higher education institutions do not know how to plan their activities, build target priorities and manage time. The purpose of the article is to consider and outline the basics of managing their activities and their time, knowledge of which will help university students to study successfully and be in demand as specialists in their profession. Methods of system analysis, synthesis, generalization, etc. were used for the study. The scientific novelty and practical significance of the work consists in the fact that the author reveals the general foundations of self-management in the conditions of the ongoing transformation and digitalization of the system of higher art and pedagogical education and justifies their impact on the effectiveness of training and professional development of graduates. In addition, the author answers the question of why it is crucial nowadays to have such skills and competences as the volitional ability to learn independently, a high degree of adaptation to constant change, creativity and the ability to effectively organize independent work and one’s time, critical thinking and the ability to focus on essentials, reflection, life safety. The formation of skills and competences of self-management, self-education and self-development, of course, is necessary for everyone in the modern world, but for university students it is the basis for successful learning and formation in a professional environment. The article is intended for teachers of pedagogical universities, teaching staff, graduate students, students and others interested in self-education, self-upbringing and successful development. |
