The purpose of this article is to assess the state of the pharmaceutical market in Russia, considering the challenges that affect the state of the industry and the market, as well as to develop recommendations aimed at solving the identified problems. In the process of analysis, it was found that domestic pharmacy needs a new development strategy, considering current trends in economy. It has been determined that the problematic aspects of pharmacy are dependence on imports of medicines and pharmaceutical products, insufficient number of innovative developments and innovative solutions; lack of incentives for the release of original drugs; pharmaceutical substances; excipients; industrial and laboratory equipment from national manufacturers. It has been determined that in the current conditions, the most important task for the development of the pharmaceutical industry is import substitution, which in the current political situation should be considered a problem, the solution of which should ensure the national security of the country; highlighted the factors that hinder the process of import substitution in the pharmaceutical industry, among which there is an insufficient number of innovative developments and innovative solutions; lack of incentives for the production of original drugs, excipients, industrial and laboratory equipment from national manufacturers. The author substantiates that the urgent scientific task is to justify the necessity to form a dualistic state policy and a strategy for the development of a self-sufficient high-tech pharmaceutical production in Russia, based on synergy and complementary measures of the policy of providing the population with medicines and industrial policy, focused both on stimulating development and production of new pharmaceutical products based on advanced technologies and reducing the dependence of the health protection system on imports, as well as strengthening the competitiveness of pharmaceutical production, reducing its dependence on foreign goods and technologies, and intensifying related activities. |
