USING ChatGPT IN TEACHING ENGLISH GRAMMAR

The article explores the potential of using ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art language generation model, in the English grammar classrooms. The relevance oппf the study is due to the growing demand for personalized and interactive learning; at the same time educators are looking for innovative tools to improve language teaching. ChatGPT offers students a platform to master different skills including grammar ones and provides instant feedback. By integrating ChatGPT into practical English language classes, teachers can create a fun and engaging learning environment, promoting students’ acquisition of grammar rules and their use in a personalized and interactive manner. The article discusses the benefits and practical applications of ChatGPT in teaching English grammar. The introduction discusses the relevance, aims and objectives of the study. The main part of the article shows ways to use ChatGPT in the process of teaching English grammar based on ChatGPT determining the novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the study. In conclusion, it is summarized that the introduction of ChatGPT into the educational process of learning English grammar provides a more effective process due to the extensive functionality of artificial intelligence. The benefit of using the ChatGPT service is due to providing personalized feedback. ChatGPT’s extensive database and student-tailored responses facilitate a personalized learning experience, ultimately promoting greater understanding and application of grammar rules. The authors offer an algorithm for a practical lesson on teaching the Present Simple tense form using ChatGPT.
