PROFESSIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL INTERACTION OF AN ANDROLOGIST: PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECT

Annotation:

The relevance of the research lies in the search for ways to optimize the professional activity of an andrologist in modern conditions of digitalization and globalization in the system of continuing professional education for adults. The problem of andrologist professional communication is actualized as a necessary condition for improving the quality of postgraduate education of practicing teachers. The purpose of the research is to study the features of interpersonal cognition and interaction in the “teacher advanced teacher training students” system. The research methodology is based on the application of a set of theoretical and empirical methods (survey, content analysis) from the perspective of personal activity and competence approaches. The specifics of the perception of personality and professional and pedagogical interaction of the andrologist by students are specified. The scientific novelty of the study consists in the fact that the ideas of students (working teachers) about the effectiveness (ineffectiveness) of the professional activity of a teacher in the postgraduate education system are revealed. In the context of digitalization of the educational space, the accents in the andrologist’s role repertoire are changing. The importance and role of the andrologist as a source and translator of professional knowledge is decreasing, and, on the contrary, the roles of a consultant, mentor, tutor, and facilitator are increasing. As a result of the study, it was revealed that an effective teacher is evaluated by students primarily as a good communicator, with developed speech abilities and moral and communicative qualities. Thus, in adult education, the nature of professional and pedagogical interaction is transformed in the first of place. The practical significance of the research lies in substantiating the idea of the significant role of communicative competence in the structure of professional culture and the image of the andrologist, as well as the need to increase attention to the psychological and socio-communicative training of teachers in the adult education system. Promising directions in the study of professional communication of andrologists are ways of preventing communicative stress and professional deformation of the teacher`s personality.
