Entrepreneurial intentions are the key element of the realizing entrepreneurial opportunities. However, with a high entrepreneurial potential of the country, these intentions do not always transform into entrepreneurial activity and in most cases remain unsupported by action. In this context, the issue of assessing the level of entrepreneurial intentions becomes particularly relevant, including measuring a certain limit that ensures the transition from entrepreneurial intentions to entrepreneurial activity (revitalization of entrepreneurial activity). In this regard, there is a need to form a methodological approach to assessing entrepreneurial intentions. The article examines the problem of involving people in entrepreneurship. The process of forming entrepreneurial intentions that precede entrepreneurial activity is analyzed. The idea is substantiated that often the level of entrepreneurial intentions formed in an individual does not allow him/her to move on to entrepreneurial actions. The methodology presented in the study for assessing entrepreneurial intentions is based on the author’s Model of perception of entrepreneurial opportunities “The Six Rs”. The Six Rs model allows us to assess the level of readiness of an individual to transition from entrepreneurial intentions to entrepreneurial activity according to such six key determinants as: result, work, resources, market, risk, resolve. Using this technique, the study analyzed the level of entrepreneurial intentions of students of Ufa University of Science and Technology studying in various fields of training. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that the proposed author’s methodology for assessing the level of entrepreneurial intentions due to a clearer understanding of the predictors of entrepreneurial behavior allows us to identify factors, the targeted impact on which makes it possible to influence an individual’s positive perception of entrepreneurship.
