THE INFLUENCE OF SANCTIONS AND RESTRICTION MEASURES ON THE MOTIVATION OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE FIELD OF FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION BY ROAD TRANSPORT

Entrepreneurship motivation plays an important role in maintaining economic activity and helping to improve people’s living standards. Particular attention is paid to the motivation of entrepreneurship in the Kaliningrad region. The Kaliningrad region in Russia is an exclave region it has no land borders with the main territory of the country. This situation creates a number of difficulties for economic activity in the region. Therefore, motivating entrepreneurship in regions that are in the most critical operating conditions is necessary for the development of the economy and the stabilization of society. Sanctions are a complex economic factor that has a negative impact on entrepreneurship. However, some entrepreneurs may see opportunity in a crisis and use it to their advantage, for example by shifting their focus to the domestic market or developing new strategies and solutions. In such cases, entrepreneurial motivation may be maintained or even strengthened. This article explores the motivation of entrepreneurship in the Kaliningrad region under sanctions using a specific example. The article analyzes the main factors influencing the motivation of entrepreneurs in the region, examines the strategies that are used to overcome difficulties associated with sanctions, as well as the role and significance of the counter-influence of government support measures implemented in the region. The results of the study allow us to better understand the characteristics of entrepreneurial motivation under sanctions and may be useful for developing recommendations and strategies to support entrepreneurship under sanctions.
