This article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the factors influencing the career guidance of schoolchildren in the context of choosing service in the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation (MIA of Russia). The research focuses on the value orientation towards admission to educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a key factor in professional self-determination of adolescents. The author analyzes the versatility of this phenomenon, considering it as the result of a complex interaction of personal, social and institutional factors. The research goes beyond the traditional approach to career guidance, which is often limited to analyzing market demand for professions and individual abilities. Instead, the focus is on exploring the deep motivational mechanisms underlying the choice of a career in law enforcement. The article considers the formation of a value attitude as a process conditioned by the influence of such factors as the social significance of the profession, patriotic feelings, the desire to serve society, career prospects, stability and social guarantees, the influence of family and environment, as well as the media image of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The author analyzes how these factors interact and form students’ understanding of the profession in the Interior Ministry system, influencing their motivation and willingness to enroll in relevant educational institutions. Special attention is paid to the role of interactive games as an effective tool for career guidance. The article argues why game methods are a promising approach to working with schoolchildren, allowing them to be involved in the learning process, simulate real professional situations, develop the necessary skills and form a positive attitude towards the profession. The author considers various types of interactive games suitable for career guidance in this context, discussing their advantages and disadvantages, as well as offering recommendations on the development and application of such games. In conclusion, the article offers scientifically based recommendations for improving the system of career guidance for schoolchildren to serve in the Department of Internal Affairs, emphasizing the need for an integrated approach that takes into account both values and innovative methods of working with young people. The results of the study may be useful for career guidance specialists, educators, psychologists, as well as employees of law enforcement agencies involved in career guidance work with schoolchildren.
