The presented article is a scientific and analytical one, in which, based on a comprehensive review of the results of studying the scientific problem of the formation of critical thinking among young people as one of the leading tasks of professional education, an analysis of pedagogical aspects is carried out, reflecting the purposeful activities necessary to counter aggressive anti-Russian propaganda, dangerous in relation to Russian society and the Russian statehood. Russia, being in the center of the ongoing geopolitical transformation, is experiencing tremendous influence from various agents of anti-state propaganda. These include the mass media and various fake structures with ideological positions that are extremely dangerous for national unity and the preservation of statehood; individual political “figures”, parties and movements calling for the overthrow of our social and state system; extremist and terrorist associations that carry out covert subversive work on our territory; some non-profit organizations that are fully or partially funded from abroad for organizing hostile activities, etc. The current stage of higher education development is characterized by the designing a new concept aimed at the personal development of students. In the latest generation of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education, “critical thinking” is designated among universal competences, and therefore, based on the analysis of ideas from domestic and foreign scientists, this article reveals its essential and meaningful characteristics. At the same time, it is noted that currently students have a low level of formation of the skills to obtain reliable information, evaluate and question established opinions and judgments, identify the essence of the problem and alternative ways to solve it, which actualizes the problem of developing critical thinking among students and is one of the priorities for the development of modern educational systems. It is concluded that pedagogical activities aimed at developing critical thinking among young people in educational organizations are an effective mechanism for countering aggressive anti-Russian propaganda. |
