Annotation:

The article actualizes the issue of improving program and methodological support of training future civil engineers in university-business interaction. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the presentation of methods for the transformation of educational programs and curricula to train engineers in the interests of the real economy. The purpose of the study is to increase the effectiveness of training civil engineers in the multifunctional cooperation between a regional university and business structures. The objectives of the research are to identify the sought-after directions for transformation of basic educational programs and curricula to train future civil engineers in the interests of the real economy, to test a profile-adapted algorithm of curriculum transformation of civil engineers’ training and to evaluate its result according to the criterion of balance. The main content of the study presents the experience of improving program and methodological support for the training of future civil engineers in cooperation between a regional university and technology business structures in Orenburg State University branches (in Kumertau, Republic of Bashkortostan and Buzuluk, Orenburg region). The content of the sought-after labor functions of an engineer according to the development of innovative, technological, managerial and entrepreneurial competences integrated into the curricula is revealed. The aspects of transformation of professional-oriented curriculum content are presented on the basis of adapting the methodology of balancing the amount of time for studying the leading engineering disciplines: product design, environment management, process implementation and project commercialization. Examples of evaluating the balance of curricula are given. Conclusions are drawn about the need for the interested representatives of business to participate in the development of university educational programs in order to advance the training of future engineers according to prospective requirements of the real economy.
