Improvement of the effectiveness of quality management systems based on tools of decision support systems

The article is devoted to the possibility of the application of decision support systems in order to improve the effectiveness of quality management systems. Contemporary development problems of quality management systems and ways of its solution are analysed. The author discusses priority trends for development of contemporary quality engineering tools. There is a general classification of decision support systems. The selection of optimal architecture of such a system based on the specifics of the problem has been made. The author presents fundamental formulas of regression analysis, selected as the base of the mathematical apparatus of decision support system. The author identifies benefits of the application of this system in modern enterprises.
