The article reviews the major approaches to the ability to study and its components, as well as the psychological features of inter-connections of general ability to study and cognitive interest of junior school children with various levels of development. The role of cognitive interest in the structure of a general ability to study and development of the subject position at the junior school age is determined: performing planning activity, operational and evaluation and control components the child is formed as an individual. The author’s position regarding perspective of researches in the area of special pedagogical science and psychology is provided at the end of the article. |
