ANALYSIS OF AGRICULTURAL LAND USE OF VOLGOGRAD REGION

Management of land resources involves performance of their monitoring, which is a system of observation of the land stock and is designated to timely detection of ongoing changes, their assessment, prevention and elimination of consequences of negative processes. The object of monitoring is all lands of the Russian Federation, irrespective of the land ownership, its purpose and type of use. As a legally protected natural object and resource existing independently of human will, the land performs an environmental and resource function; social – as the place and condition of human life; political – as the territory of the state; and economical – as the object of management and an element of market relations.
