AVAILABILITY OF RESORT AND HEALTH-IMPROVING SERVICES AND MODERNIZATION OF THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

Problems of modernization of the health care from the standpoint of increasing the availability of health-improving services to different population segments have been reviewed in the article. The special attention has been paid to the development of the sphere of sanatorium-health improvement services for prevention of diseases that are proposed to be reflected in the Concept of the health care development of Russia till 2020. The analysis of the distribution of the total volume of the household expenses on the health-improving services for different population groups has been carried out. Necessity of decrease of the social differentiation in the access to the reviewed services in the course of modernization of domestic public health services has been justified.
