Geoinformational modeling in THE EVALUATION of competitiveness, stability and safety of municipalities development

| Annotation: | The most important information technologies capable to provide for the process of making operative and effective decisions in the area of regional and municipal management are the technologies of spatial analysis on the basis of modern geoinformational systems (GIS). Implementation of geoinformational approach to management of competitive, stable and safe development of the region practically means formation of the regional geoinformational system (RGIS) and active use of resources of spatial data characterizing natural-resources and social-economic potential of the region. The use of methods of geostatistics on the basis of modern GIS is capable to significantly add already existing conception about territorial structure of the regional economics and factors affecting its spatial heterogeneity. According to the author of the article the mixture of geoinformation science and geostatistics is capable to provide for resolution of the most important issues of management of the balanced social-economic development of municipal entities with regards to their social-economic, economical and natural resources abilities. | ||
