Capital formation in the Russian commercial banks

The international practice of the banks activity in the area of capital formation shows that the recent basic tendency is the striving of different countries for providing the uniformity of approaches to the issues of formation of the banks own capital. The article is devoted to the examination of the dynamics of changing the approaches of the Russian banks to the use of various mechanisms of the shared capital formation in XIX–XXI centuries. The main attention is focused on the determination of the factors that specified the nature of the changes occurred, which include, among the others, the requirements of the regulator.
